SCOOP THE POOP
Walking around in my neighborhood was always like a jigsaw puzzle - jumping across piles of dog poop left right and centre, trying your level best not to step in it. However, the roads had dog poop everywhere; so much so that we called it 'dog poop roads'. Besides the inconvenience of having to clean your shoes, we researched and learnt about the various health hazards this poses. Aghast, we started an initiative, 'Scoop the Poop' to raise awareness on the dangers of dog poop, and incentivise owners to pick up after their dogs. We sold scoopers and bags and handed out flyers. We stood on the roads as early as 6am with our banners, and attended dog shows, spoke at a company and visited the dog park in Cubbon Park. All the proceeds from sales went towards CUPA.
